This morning I took a solo trip down to Rhode Island for a bit of a beach day.
I found this sandy little beach through a Google search and arrived around 8:30 this morning.
When I first arrived I was one of maybe four different groups that were enjoying the early morning calm of the beach.
The perfect weather brought out the crowds and the beach eventually filled in.
Around 12 I had gotten my fill of sunshine and the size of the crowd was making me anxious so I headed out, but I really enjoyed my time alone on the beach, reading my book and taking in my surroundings.
I need to make time for more solo beach trips in the future.
