I've been really trying to figure out some restorative activities that I can do for my mental health and one thing that came to mind while I've been taking this week off is hiking. While there aren't a ton of mountains to climb in my area, there are plenty of walking trails that I can explore and on Monday I went to check one out. It felt so good to connect back with nature in this way that I spent a good 45 minutes to an hour just wandering around and enjoying the scenery. I snapped a few photos during my walk and wanted to share. I'll be doing more of these quick hikes in the future!
